Joel G. Galpern, CPA, CrFA

Prior to joining FCT, Joel had been a sole practitioner in North Miami for over 25 years. He graduated from the University of Miami in August, 1969 and completed graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin in the science of accounting in May, 1972. Joel has served on the Board of Directors and/or as Treasurer of the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce for 25 years, and was recently honored as one of only seven honorary lifetime directors in the Chamber.

He hosted the TV talk show “Minding Your Own Business” on education cable for four years and solely-produced his 14-hour home study course “Business Basics – A Guide for Business”. Additionally, he has lectured for over 20 years in the areas of small business entrepreneurship as well as real estate and mortgage brokerage.

Joel is married and has four adult children. He holds three world handball titles and is a ballroom dancing enthusiast.
