Lynn M. Brewer

Ms. Brewer is the Firm’s tax department principal. She has over 25 years experience in public accounting. Lynn also spearheads the trust and estate department, as well as FCT’s international tax division, including tax compliance, client consultations and IRS representation. Lynn’s other responsibilities include managing FCT’s professional staff, from training through daily supervision, scheduling, and workflow.

She has spoken to numerous groups on trust and estate accounting and tax reporting requirements as well as participating on panels with other professionals for the mentoring group SCORE.

Ms. Brewer graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Accounting in 1989 and is a member of Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). In 1979, Lynn earned her first degree in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Lancaster, England. She is a past president of the Ft. Lauderdale Chapter of Internal Auditors, and is on the planning committee of the Joint Tax & Estate Planning Seminar. Lynn has two children and has worked for many years with various animal organizations, including being a pet foster parent for animals awaiting adoption. She enjoys running and has participated in numerous half marathons.
